She’s sailed the ocean, made over $100,000 a year as an art director, and is now homeless and unable to work due to Environmental Illness.
Danni Stor has multiple disabilities which have impacted her life to this point, including Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), and Celiac. She’s lost almost everything including family memorabilia, heirlooms, and her apartment, and now may lose her life. There’s no housing in Toronto or even in Ontario that accommodates Environmental Illness, so she’s currently sleeping in a tent in record-setting Extreme Cold temperatures in a Canadian winter.
For over a month, agencies have failed to help find her housing, because there simply isn’t any. She’s stuck in Toronto while waiting for back pay from her disability application and will lose approximately $60,000 if she leaves town to go stay somewhere safe for more than 7 days.

UPDATE January 12th 2018:
Danni has moved into a room that is safer for her disability here in Toronto. It was a privately offered solution. She still needs our help but at least is out of the cold. We wish her the best.
